What sororities will be doing spring rush? Is it harder than fall rush?

You most likely won’t know until January, and it depends on sororority but there are a lot fewer spots, but also it’s a lot more laid back! If you are a freshman I’d honestly rush in the fall instead of doing cob!

How does spring rush work? Did many pledges drop in the fall to make openings in the spring?

It is based on allowed chapter totals. People graduate in December, people go inactive or study abroad or intern, lots of reasons, so houses may go under chapter total for the spring. But spring rush is not at all an organized event like in fall and panhellenic doesn't run it; it is up to each individual house to decide if they want to offer some bids. But that doesn't mean they will actually offer bids at all. If they do, a lot of times they will just quietly make some offers to girls they already know and not have events. You need to reach out to anyone you know in houses to get on their radar and contact panhellenic.
