AOPi is a really good group of girls, if I wasn't already stuck in my sorority I would switch to them, but unfortunately I already made that mistake. All my closest friends are in this sorority and I met them after I made my decision to join mine. Don't make my mistake... Join this diverse, well rounded, good girls!

You have no house. You are weird. You are mean to other chapters. AND you expect all chapters to bend over backwards to accommodate you. For those who need clarifying.. they are the reason all chapters have to do pref night on campus yet they are the only chapter using a venue downtown because they didnt like their assigned room..

All the chapters now have to have pref on campus for safety reasons and because the art building is still under construction there are not enough nice rooms on campus for all chapters. Panhellenic VOTED to let AOPi have pref downtown.

That first responder had it right. The other thing is that all chapters will rotate through rooms for the next years, so everyone will go through every location over the next 6 years. If the new art building has a room comparable to the others used for pref, maybe they'll have it on campus again. But yeah, it doesn't seem fair to have a bunch of decent rooms and then Langdon... And yes, panhellenic voted for the change.

AOPi is not the reason Pref night is now on campus, that changed to eliminate uncomfortable feelings for first year/transfer students having to go off campus and carpool with strangers...some girls were left behind because they didn't have a ride. I heard that about the panhellenic vote too, get your facts straight YOTCH

Cute girls, very powerful on campus, I think people underestimate the amount of work they do for greek life and their chapter. Yeah they have some awk girls but only a couple out of the whole group so whatever. Starting out strong!

Definitely has made a greater impact in the short time on campus then most of the other sororities. They're new fun and exciting and you can feel their excitement in the air. Has freshened up sorority life in Chico, interested to see how this recruitment will go.
