Rankings from perspective of an incoming first year

After my first 3 weeks on campus during summer, from vibes of rushing around and talks with the fruzz (freshmen huzz), these are my undisputed house rankings for guys (aka frats):
Top tier: Pike, Beta, SAE, Sigma Chi,
Almost their tier: KA, Fiji, KS, Sig Nu
Middle tier: TKE, ATO, Pi Kap, Sig ep, Theta Xi
Lower: Lambda Chi, Delta Up
Let me know if I should go into it with a different mindset, i have many bids from these places but still undecided.

Look around: who else is rushing at these houses and getting bids? Do you like these guys? A lot? This is your prospective pledge class and a VERY important consideration. These guys you pledge with will be the ones you are closest to and will make or break your fraternity experience. The older members rushing you set the tone for the chapter, but you have got to like and fit in with your pledge class.

Terrible ranking. You are judging these fraternities on the handful of brothers that are on campus. The ones that are on campus right now in the summer are typically the least strong members. Exception for those that have internships in Atlanta and are living in the house. Wait until the fall.

Nah, most living in over summer are stoners or bots who either didn’t get internships or failed classes and need to catch up

Most living in during summer are from Atlanta and are working on campus or midtown/downtown or taking classes. Sorry mid bro lol
