Fresno State is a mid-size CSU campus sitting in the heart of the Central Valley, and it's got a Greek system that reflects the university's broad mix of students and backgrounds. Panhellenic includes well-known nationals like Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, Alpha Xi Delta, and Phi Mu. Beyond those two councils, there are multicultural fraternities and sororities as well — Gamma Zeta Alpha, Lambda Sigma Gamma, and Sigma Theta Psi are among those with a presence here, reflecting the campus's strong Latino and diverse student population.

Fresno State isn't a school where Greek life dominates the whole social scene. It's more of a presence than a centerpiece — chapters are active, they do philanthropy work, host events, and recruit each semester, but the majority of students aren't involved. That said, for the students who do go Greek, it tends to be a pretty tight community.
