Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University - FGCU 2.0 Most people you ask do not care for Zeta and that is because Zeta does not care about those that are not in their circle. They will shoot you a hello if they feel like it, but they will just as easily act like they do not see you. They exist in their mid-tier bubble and don't really care to make friends with others unless they find them useful to them like to buy a ticket to their event or for class help. It is what it is.

Most people you ask do not care for Zeta and that is because Zeta does not care about those that are not in their circle. They will shoot you a hello if they feel like it, but they will just as easily act like they do not see you. They exist in their mid-tier bubble and don't really care to make friends with others unless they find them useful to them like to buy a ticket to their event or for class help. It is what it is.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University - FGCU 2.5 This is an example of why people comment the way they do about Zeta. A few Zetas are in my classes this semester and will likely be for the next several semesters. I asked to be a part of their study group and to attempt to make friends, but I was rudely treated. I would go as far as call them mean girls. If you want to know why people do not look positively on Zeta as a whole just use this as another example.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University - FGCU 2.7 Zeta is a mixed group with a handful of pretty girls and the rest being a toss-up. They have proven once again in recruitment that they choose blondes no matter what else they have going for them. Just ask some what their majors are and you will find very few are the best and the brightest on campus. Zetas are known to party and are invited to majority of all parties thrown, so they have that going for them. I would say they are mid-tier and they were not the most favorite group with the pnms. KD and PM seemed to be more in demand this year. It doesn't seem to phase ZTA because they pick who they want and they remain less active on campus.

I just don't hear enough about the sorority that my friends love it. It is more a take it or leave it type of feel. I guess you get out of it what you put in it. I would say Zeta is not a large group compared to a few others.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University - FGCU 2.9 ZTA is somewhat of a mixed bag. Some girls are attractive and others not so much. Some are very active in ZTA and other you have no clue they are even a members. ZTA doesn't really try to be welcoming to outsiders. I have witnessed people stop by their events and they don't even thank them or talk with them. They give off that vibe that if you are not in the group you are not welcome. ZTA has potential to be the top group, but not the way they are going.

They appear to choose their new member class based on looks. When you choose based on looks you will always gain attention, but they are not getting the full package.
