Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University - FGCU 1.9 100% no bs. zeta is one of the older more established organizations on campus. as I'm sure you know, they're known as being the "pretty" sorority and they'll be sure to let you know that without even mentioning it. during recruitment, a lot of girls get cut if they don't meet that standard/image. but even with this, it comes at a price. a handful of zetas aren't necessarily the nicest, and have a mean girl complex. on top of that, academics aren't really a top priority with this organization. I feel that this is not necessarily a reflection of the girls themselves but rather the image they put out. they also get a lot of flack for not having a lot of involvement. a lot girls go into recruitment for the wrong reasons to begin with, but zeta puts out the stereotypical, surface level reasons which contributes to pnms perception. nevertheless, a few bad apples don't represent an entire organization.
