What do I REALLY need to make it to a sorority?

by: be honest

I really want to go through recruitment but between the tiers, rumors, and “requirements” of being hot, skinny and rich, I don’t know what to believe. Can anyone be super honest with what I need?

honestly, the upper middle and top houses mainly go off of looks, sometimes gpa and personality. but be yourself during rush and you’ll find the house for you, whether it’s top or bottom tier, what should matter is where you can be yourself and be happy.

To begin, make sure you have at least one rec for every house. Have an outgoing and chill personality. Look your best (Yes. It’s true). You will be judged on how you look as well
as personality - think of it as an interview. Definitely go where you feel comfortable and happy - you will enjoy your sorority so much more! DON’T go in thinking you already know which house you want. Tbh - very few people really care about tiers. The ones that do just make the most noise about it. You will be fine. Good luck!

True. You’ll find your house. Don’t worry.

Recs are helpful but not necessary. I had ZERO and I still got back a bunch of houses (from all tiers) for every round and I ended up in the right place for me :)
