Srat Description & Constructive Criticism

1. Kappa Delta — absolutely stunning girls. my absolute favorite of all the new pcs form the fall. the reason for making them top is because they have a better rep on campus compared to zeta. they are more social with other srat chapters, have a (much) higher gpa, are very involved in panhellenic, and they were the favorite amongst pnms during rush. my issue is that every girl i’ve met in kd acts like being kd is a personality and it isn’t.
2. Zeta Tau Alpha — super pretty girls and have long been the top house on campus. however, their chapter has become more about being facey rather than having a solid sisterhood and keeping girls in their house. they’ve continuously had to do spring rush because girls keep dropping. i truly believe if you’re a top house that wouldn’t occur every spring.
3. Alpha Delta Pi — every adpi i’ve met has been extraordinarily sweet and they have a great rep on campus. notorious known as one of the most well rounded srats. They have a high gpa, beautiful girls, and are facey but not in the same way zeta is facey. main issue with them is they come across very religious and as an atheist it’s off putting. i don’t think religion should be a determining factor in who gets in but that’s just me. definitely a drop down from zeta and kd
4. Delta Delta Delta — i feel like this chapter is falling off fast and hard. their rep on campus has slowly been declining over the last few years and it shows in the quality of girls. they were absolutely stunning in the past, but if you look at pc19 they look like axo i’m sorry. ik this is unpopular but their dues are just too high for most girls to pay for. the ones i’ve met are very snobby and rude to people who aren’t in their chapter. i think they’ll just be a normal mid tier in a few years.
5. Delta Gamma — their girls are absolutely beautiful and they have the most diversity compared to the other top 5 houses. their pc was one of my favorites in terms of looks. frats love them bc they’re fun to party with and have really facey girls. they go a little too far sometimes and i’ve met a couple girls who are just straight up mean for no reason. they have a low gpa, don’t seem very focused on philanthropy, but they’re very nice to other chapters compared to others i’ve experienced. with all that being said, i still think they’re coming up and will take the #4 spot after fall rush.
6. Kappa Alpha Theta — I think they’re more comparable to dg rather than axo and pi phi. they seem to pref a lot of the same girls as dg. girls are gorgeous and also very diverse like dg. they’re very passionate about their philanthropy and have a tight sisterhood. they also had a very solid pc in the fall. they also didn’t have to do spring rush. however, they don’t interact with a lot of other chapters and aren’t v involved on campus. they’re not top tier but i wouldn’t be shocked if they were after a couple years. on the rise but only if they become more involved and don’t act like they’re better than other chapters
7. Pi Beta Phi — veryy basic. not to say basic is bad but most of their girls are cliche white girls from upper middle class homes and areas. they’re the largest srat on campus with average grades. most people’s issue with pi phis are that they only really associate with other girls in their chapter, raised barely anything for their philanthropy in the fall, and only seem to care about line dance. i’ve noticed i only see them w SAE and not many other frats. continue in comments

pi phi: ... a solid mid tier, don’t see them moving up but could possibly move down.
8. Alpha Chi Omega — they give off the “i’m not like other girls” vibe. they’re also much worse than theta about thinking they’re next to crack the top 5. They’re a solid mid tier house with very smart girls. Girls i’ve met there are either very laid back or go hard, but overall they have a high gpa. They had to do spring rush but that’s because they’re trying to pay for a new house. I think this house is staying pretty stagnant, didn’t see a major difference in their last pc from previous years. they weren’t a favorite amongst girls for rush. i know a lot who either chose a different house over them or dropped when they got a bid from.
9. Chi Omega — they’re kinda the mid tier version of adpi. they always put on a fantastic rush. easily one of the favorites among pnms during rush. however, their pc this year was worse than other years and i’ve heard despite their great rush that the sisterhood isn’t the same. easily one of the smartest chapters on campus, and give off the girl next door vibes. i think they could get more attractive girls if they wanted to but they’re pretty stagnant because they don’t go solely on looks alone.
10. Phi Mu — Ive honestly never met a phi mu except for the girls who rushed me. i think they just mostly keep to themselves but i don’t know enough about this chapter to give an accurate description.
11. Alpha Phi — tbh they might have a worse rep than any other house. they constantly refer to themselves as “zeta lite” when literally nobody else thinks that. from what i can tell they just choose girls who are somewhat attractive and are only about climbing the social ladder. they’re loud and rude when i see them out and i don’t even know any frats that like them other than delta chi and below. sorry but it’s true
12. Delta Zeta — kinda irrelevant but trying really hard to be better. most people don’t know this chapter, but this years pc was better than previous. they make an effort to be facey but sometimes just come across as wanna be. this chapter doesn’t seem to have as much of an identity as other srats. every girl i’ve met there seems to be really individualistic and different in their own way, but i think that’s why they’re at dz. it’s a sorority for girls who don’t make being in a sorority their personality.
13. Gamma Phi Beta — probably one of the most involved srats on campus, but the least of any srat for philanthropy. not a lot of frats like them except for fiji and below. above average gpa, but they also come across as mean to other houses that they see as above them. they act very sweet when they talk to you but ive heard these girls talk poorly about other chapters repeatedly. preach panlove but don’t act like it. i don’t see them rising or falling.

Hi so dz def isn’t top tier but irrelevant is harsh. They were represented on Panhellenic’s exec council last year and the Panhel president a few years back was a dz, won IM sports this year and last, members of law fraternities, sga, housing etc. I can honestly say the last thing dz is is facey and I’d love for you to explain to me how you think they “try to be facey” As far as individualistic, yes they’re def not identical and theirs different groups within in the chapter for whatever you like. But unity is still a thing, retention is up and you’re just very wrong.

“Dz doesn’t try to be facey” ok then why has every girl I know in DZs new pc said that they were more facey this year than in past years? And don’t try and act all high and mighty we all know you have barely any seniors and your newest PC has had multiple girls drop

Actually retention is up this year! Girls who did choose to drop did so because they were unable to meet academic or financial requirements! Also how would the new pc understand how dz recruits and selects members? They’re not trained, they’re just as clueless as you.

14. Sigma Delta Tau — very involves in panhellenic. sig delt gets a lot of hate for no reason. a lot of japs tbh. the girls who rushed me were beautiful, but they could’ve just been hiding the other ones upstairs. even the sig delts i’ve met outside of rush are very sweet and fun. sort of a mixed bag of attractiveness. most people’s issue with them is their personalities are sometimes kind of abrasive and come across as bitter. they talk bad about a lot of top tier and even upper mid chapters and aren’t very facey.
15. Kappa Kappa Gamma — quirky girls. below average attractiveness but they make up for it in personality. every kappa i’ve met is so fun and i always have an interesting conversation about something. for a lower tier srat i think they’re the faciest of the bottom tier. they have a good gpa average, didn’t raise a lot of money raised for their philanthropy, and are kinda forgotten about. Despite what they want to think they are also not on the rise. not a lot of girls were fans of this chapter during rush but that’s bc they attract only certain types of girls.
16. Alpha Omicron Pi — my least favorite chapter of them all. their personalities very annoying and over the top. you’ll find them at tke and phi psi. it’s a house for girls who are barely too attractive for agd but their personality isn’t good enough for kappa or sig delt.
17. Alpha Gamma Delta — they are incredibly involved in panhellenic. they show up together to every philanthropy, pan meeting, everything. my worst experience with one was during rush when they told me “we aren’t like other houses who go based on looks” and it just rubbed me the wrong way because rush isn’t the time to talk poorly about other houses. mostly for girls who couldn’t get a bid anywhere else, but you can tell they’re happy just to be there.
