Any house that does not match to Quota after Pref may offer Snap Bids to get up to Quota. Snaps are offered before bids are opened on Bid Day by a call or in person. PNM's who get a Snap Bid go to Bid Day and run home with everyone else. PNM's who attended at least the first round of recruitment are eligible. PNM's who go all the way through and sign a card after pref are not eligible. You don't have to accept a Snap Bid and are not penalized if you don't, but if you are lucky enough to get one, it may be your last and best chance to be Greek. Don't count on getting a Snap Bid though; there are very few of them each year. If you dropped out of recruitment because you didn't like the choices you had left, you are not going to do 'better' with a Snap.

Snaps only happen before bids are distributed. Bids given out now are COB. Any house that did not bid to quota can COB. Also, any house that is below Total House Membership, which will be determined in the next few weeks, is eligible to COB as well. Contact panhellenic if you are interested.
