In the dz room last year for rush, I felt very uncomfortable and judged. I literally caught a girl looking from top to bottom at other girls walking in to see how they were dressed. I felt like I was not good enough. True story, one dz told me that she was too good to ride the el. I knew at that moment this chapter was based on materialistic ideals and not a true sister hood.

People bash on DZ a lot but the fact is that they kill it during recruitment every year and have consistently been a great sorority over the years.

During rush I felt really judged going into the dz rooms, the conversations were about TV shows and that was about it. I thought I liked them from their social media pages but I was wrong in the end. I did have a few genuine conversations at the sorority fair with some nice girls.

The only problem with DZ is that they are incredibly materialistic and boast too much about being the best which makes them very unpopular among most girls in panhel. But they recruit and perform well throughout the year except for their sisterhood issues.
