I have encountered plenty of SigEps throughout my time at CSUN. But to be honest, I don't see how this fraternity sticks out from the rest of the fraternities especially all the Sigma-based fraternities. I do agree with the comment below that SigEp is a top-tier fraternity, even though they are the lowest on the chain. SigEp is for people who were unable to get bids from (Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, or SAE) as they are left-overs who should be overlooked by the rest of the Greek community.

Some of the most selfless guys I've ever met. Not only good looking, but rank well in terms of grades. Definitely well known around the school and are extremely involved with campus life. Those who mentioned sketchy, and low ranked are obviously at odds with themselves especially when other houses look up to these guys. Plus they like to help out with sororities events.

Overall they are not bad but I don't want to lie. Sig ep has a very...interesting reputation. They are known for trying INCREDIBLY hard to get noticed and be unlined unlike the other top houses (SAE and Chi), so keep that in mind. They have had some sketchy stuff occur and their parties and that's why they have gotten increasingly worse over the last year. Again, not a bad group of guys but they have a ton to improve on

Never usually on greekrank but just gunna give my honest opinion here to balance some of the hate. I met a ton of sigeps during rush week & overall I think they're a great group of guys who definitely deserve a higher ranking. Ended up getting the bid from them but one of the things that stopped me from rushing them was the fact that they surprisingly gave bids to a few of the weirdest guys I've seen all of rush week. Oh well, overall a great fraternity though.
