Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at California State University San Marcos - CSUSM 1.2 this fraternity have no event what-so-ever. been on campus for only two years and they don't even have 100 members yet. kinda sad really. Not that great of a fraternity

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at California State University San Marcos - CSUSM 4.8 I hope this new president gets the fraternity installed. They are great guys and they are working their ass off! I have a friend in sigma chi who goes to CSUSB and they told me that sigma chi has the hardest installation process. Props to you guys for dealing with all the negativity. Keep up the good work!

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at California State University San Marcos - CSUSM 5.0 Definitely have some work to do and some growing pains to go through, but I know these guys are doing well and on their way to greatness. Very kind young men! A lot of people get on their case about their instillment, but I know some guys from the UCSD chapter, an award winning chapter setting the bar at their institution, and it took them a little over three years to be installed. It is an extremely rigorous process. Seems like CSUSM's Greek system needs to be a bit more supportive...

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at California State University San Marcos - CSUSM 2.0 Need some serious work. Since they can't manage to charter, they are taking up room for other frats to come on. Saw a major decline in efficiency and success once Arthur graduated. They couldn't even get us our shirts on time for their own philanthropy. Also their grades are weighing the Greek GPA down. You guys need to get it together.

I am excited for what is to come with them and knowing that they will soon be the top house with the amount of guys that are involved and changing the look of their fraternity from two years ago. Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at California State University San Marcos - CSUSM 4.2 They are seriously stepping up and it shows that SAE is intimidated. Their derby dance off was amazing and these guys are very genuine and sweet!

They may not uphold the same fratty standard that SAE upholds, but this fraternity has many genuine, respectable and intelligent men. Not to mention a lot of them are very involved on campus. Zero brotherhood and they take a San Diego Chargers mentality when it comes to getting their charter "there's always next semester boys". They are a guaranteed bid though which shows in their membership

To be fair. The time it takes to receive a charter for an organization like this is very tedious and takes years to fulfill because of the rigor required by a Headquarters. I think it is better to thoroughly fulfill all requirements and receive full acceptance and credibility from an institution before being permitted to charter at a school. And just because an organization doesn't practice the elitist, non-inclusive, and ill-mannered practices of Greek life doesn't mean they take anyone. I don't get why there are so many people so eager to tear orgs down with false information on this site.

Thank you for your feedback and creative sports-bashing reference! So, now that we have a charter and we have been more selectively recruiting our members, what are your thoughts now? In case you weren't familiar, the process for getting our charter is arduous and difficult. Some fraternities can receive their charter in a mere semester, but we have a lot more quota and standards to meet than the average fraternity. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer for a much sweeter victory.
