I almost joined AOPi last year, but the fact that I didn't know what kind of group I'd be joining made me nervous. I'm probably a bit old to go greek and get much out of it at this point, but I wish I had. These ladies are so involved. I swear I can't go to a club meeting without seeing one. Good for them!

WASP? Why are people on here saying that? They aren't like that at all. They aren't really even that "preppy." Maybe a little, but not a lot. I will agree with the statements that they tend to be the higher maintenance women, but that aren't all. Some are really chill and down to earth. They have some diversity, but could work on that piece. Overall, they are a strong sorority with a good history at our school. If you like them, then I wouldn't hesitate to join. They are fine.

They are a top sorority, but as a guy I have to say that they really are your typical whiners and complainers on a date. I'm not sure how most of them got into Columbia, but they are here, so I thought I'd date a few.I won't do that again.They are mostly good looking and my mom would love it if I married one, but I don't think I could take it. They are civic mind (sort of), but they are mostly pretty into themselves and social climbers.

Ya know - for a brand new group they are doing really, really well. They have an eclectic and diverse group of women. They appear to have a strong sisterhood and get good internships. Overall, they are really good so far.

A fairly "high middle" sorority. They tend to be really academic and a bit driven in academics/internships etc. Overall they seem to have a pretty good sisterhood and are genuinely pretty cool women.

They are a strong "high middle" house on campus. Not sure why people are calling them WASPy. They really aren't. They are a bit of the "higher maintenance" types. Some are chill, but overall, they aren't my kind of women- a little into image and status. However, I will grant them the fact that they have a strong enough sisterhood and do a lot of good for the community. If you feel like you click with them, then they are a good enough house.
