Rush Advice: If I could give any advice to PNMs

If I could give any advice to PNMs going into recruitment it would to just be yourself and you will end up exactly where you’re supposed to be. Majority of the process you have no control over just make the most of this crazy week!!

There are all kinds of girls in each house and while sororities are a great way to meet people early on I have great friends who are not in my house too!

Don’t take it personal if you are not invited to a house you wanted back. A lot of cuts are made due to lack of connection, GPA is HUGE!!, and honestly legacies of other sororities/girls with sisters or lots of close friends in other houses are also easy “cuts” for us on the other side. Our numbers are tight so it is very unlikely for a girl with no connections to walk into the house.

What you can control…. If you’re in a house that you like TELL THEM!! Be complementary say you love it tell them you could totally see yourself there. If we don’t get those verbal cues from you but we do from 10 other girls, it is unlikely you will be asked back.

It’s such a crazy week but enjoy it! Every single house on Maple street is amazing and you will find great people in and outside of the houses.
