House bashing shame

As a mom of a pnm going through recruitment right now this thread has me awfully concerned. Why is there so much house bashing? “Mean girl”, “only takes the prettiest”, “body shaming”……

There are plenty of amazing girls going through right now. All 11 houses should end up with amazing pledge classes.

What ever happened to “Go Greek”? That was the slogan in my day. Build up the Greek system and not tear each other apart.

I don’t want to have this icky feeling about the way girls are attacking each other.

because rushing at arkansas is a huge deal. and the girls get cut throat
we have one of the largest recruitments in the country.
it's also the south of you want sunshine and butterflies all the time take your daughter up north

Just decent humans would be nice. I know there are lots of them there. Why would anyone want their daughter to be associated with caddy, rude girls? So that’s your opinion of “the south”, a bunch of mean girls?

Everyone is talking about how toxic this site is this year. I am a senior and it has never been this bad during recruitment. It’s embarrassing for all of Greek life if you ask me
