which frat should i consider joining
by: KDIm an incoming transfer student from California so I will be a junior. Thinking about joining a frat but not sure if its necessary at ASU with all the things it has to offer. Only reason Im interested is because im looking for a frat that helps out the community, involved on campus, all about brotherhood and also throws some fun parties.

The guy said he wanted a chapter that is involved with the community and campus. How in any sense are TKE, DKE, and Sig Chi involved? Kappa Sig barely even wears their letters, and Sig Ep has the worst brotherhood I've ever seen. You gave a list of who rages the most, I'll give you that. Fiji is ok with community/campus involvement but I'd look into Pi Kapp, KA, and Sig Tau; they've all been improving this last year.

Your top on campus choices are Sig Ep and Lambda (and Sig Ep is holding on by a thread). I personally really like Lambda, they're smart and involved and a lot of fun. They also kill it with their philanthropy. Sig Ep is also a top house with a good brotherhood.
Dke is one of my favorites. Their parties are better because they don't have lame restrictions from the school. They have a good brotherhood too. But if you're looking for community involvement I def wouldn't go there. Girls like Sig Chi too...I'm not too familiar though.
I'd say your top picks are Sig Ep, Lambda, DKE, Sig Chi
And if you can't get a bid there go for FIJI, Pi Kapp, TKE, maybe D Sig

Don't go off campus. They will not be relevant for much longer. IFC is cracking down and fining/kicking out sorority girls who are caught affiliating with them and they are no longer allowed in any philanthropies or else all on campus fraternities have all agreed they will withdraw from the philo.
My best is to go around to walk around. EVERY fraternity has their pros and cons. From what I've seen when fraternities at ASU get bigger the brotherhood tends to suffer. Just go to walk around and to rush events and see what you like. Even smaller or newer fraternities have very good brotherhood. Most fraternities are active in philanthropies and help the community in some sort of way.

In standing with the notion of a “Universal respect for self and others,” SigEp has eliminated the pledge process completely. The program grants all members the same rights and privileges from day one, which is contrary to the idea of a two-tiered, pledge model. Because we recruit the best men, they are granted full responsibility as soon as the accept the invitation of membership.

I doubt any LXA even come on to this site or even knows this exist. Why would they come on to see all the self rankers and people trying to put them down?. As a marketing major I know many orginazations when they know they have an inferior product in which they can never compete or equal the leader will then try to defame them. When LXA no longer attracts the jealousy of lower tier houses is when they will have to worry about losing their top status. BTW I am not a LXA or in a fraternity.
