i need advice on dropping 😬😪
by: lolo
can anyone tell me how it works or what i need 2 do 2 drop after i accepted a bid a few days ago? my friend and me both rushed the same sorority and realized within a day that we picked wrong. i understand about giving a chance but when i tell u its bad, its bad. like everything they told us during rush was an act. hell, even one of them told another new member that. their definition of fun is making fun of the other girls and putting them down. like wtf. but if we drop, then what. another house we were interested in let us know they were interested in us but do we have to wait and how long. and who do we tell. these girls are mean and telling them is not an option. at this point i would be amazed if anyone from the pledge class is left by initiation

ya someone guessed right but now does anyone have any advice on how 2 go about dropping and what happens if another house wants to do a cob for my friend and me? and the fact that a couple of u knew exactly who i was talking about just reaffirms my decision that this house isnt for me or my friend.😪

I don't know how this turned out but wish you the best and hope you were able to get up the courage to not only leave but to also speak your peace on the way out. The chapter you are referring to is notorious for this behavior. I watched some close friends go through it. It's why they get booted off campus the first time and had to wait years to come back and try again. Obviously they weren't ready to return or had the wrong people in place to mold what their rep and legacy would be.
