Honestly, these guys are on the rise. Our sorority hasn't mixed with them much, but most of their guys hang out with KD's and they are taking ADPI to homecoming. Run them down if you please, but I feel like the involvement with other sororities speaks volumes. Not a hardcore group. They are the type of guys you take home to your parents and marry, not hardcore partiers.

2 good things about sigma nu: they've found out how to self rank and they're involved. Other than that, they don't throw good parties, aren't too popular around campus, and anyone that wants to be a brother becomes initiated. On the rise I guess but still middle tier. Lots of creeps and weirdos.

Fairly new fraternity that truly isn't much of a fraternity. They are all nice guys but they give bids to practically anyone. Don't have much of a brotherhood or social aspect either.

As a sorority woman at App, I'm laughing at all the grumpy post about sig nu. We LOVE mixing with them and their parties are always a blast without you feeling like someone is creeping on you. The guys are cute, fun, and RESPECTFUL which at least for me is a big deal. Not to mention they care about the school and academics so they aren't constantly on probation.

You join sigma nu if you are afraid you won't get a bid, or you are just flat out weird. They get the biggest pledge classes because they literally take anyone. The parties are really weird. The guys have a big 13 year old bro down fest and its really uncomfortable.

All these guys do is self rank. They have huge egos for no reason. Rush Sigma Nu if you're afraid you won't get a bid from a decent fraternity or don't want to have a hard pledge process.
