Not only are they super cliquey, not friendly and classless; they are extremely irresponsible for being put on national probation and only a semester after being off probation they get suspended and are under investigation again (in the span of 3 years!!). As a woman in another sorority, I am embarrassed that this ASA chapter is what it is at our school and is still recognized by SAGA. And before you come for me saying I'm salty for not getting a bid from them... think again because they also give bids to literally everyone, they called everyone that got dropped from their tops on the last day when I rushed.

I don't think you should be comingon greek rank as a memeber of another Greek organization solely to bash on another Greek organization. You're not apart of ASA so you genuinely don't know anything about the sorority. Coming on Greek rank and formulating an opinion based on rumors and articles that published false claims is called bullying. You're not a member so you have no right to speak on behalf of the chapter just because you hear rumors about the sorority. Greek life at Loyola is small and the rumors that about ASA are from years back not the current situation now. So before you spread hate and further fuel rumors take a hard look at your organization first and the way in which you're representing Greek life as a divided community by posting hate :)

Coming from not being in a sorority and friends with a lot of different girls in different chapters. ASA is a very average and inclusive sorority. Although, I have been told that they are very cliquey. From my experience, ASA girls like to talk about other girls in their chapter as well as other chapters and are not the nicest people. They really like to hype themselves up by talking bad about other sorority chapters.

In my opinion ASA is one of the most inclusive and positive chapters on campus. You could literally feel how much they cared about each other during recruitment. There are so many rumors going around about them right now but none of it is true or based on anything factual. Bottom line: ASA loves each other, loves to have a good time, and those girls are lucky to be a part of something so amazing

during my time at LUC i've had so many positive experiences with members of asa. hard to believe they are being suspended. i have been treated with so much kindness and respect at their events, so it just seems off that this is happening. definitely sounds like a great group of girls are being punished for the actions of a few.

How selfish to do this to their new members. They CHOSE to join your sisterhood and 3 weeks later you get yourselves suspended and under investigation? Second time getting suspended in 3 or 4 years. won’t be surprised if they get kicked off campus soon

A lot of people had a lot of negative things to say about asa during recruitment but I had a great experience!! Not sure where them being mean or anything came from because everyone I talked to was so chill and laid back. Also coolest bid day theme for sure. Can’t beat kanye.

Heard that some of their girls weren’t even allowed to recruit because they’re in trouble with their nationals. They also called in alumni to pose as actives and recruit. They’re shady.

Personally not in ASA, but I have a friend who is and from what I hear they're a hot mess. V disorganized and all over the place, have a hard time getting their own members to show up to events, and never attend other sororitys events. As a whole, they are a mess, but all the girls I know individually are great!
