greek life at JMU

Lowkey been thinking about rushing a sorority but I'm kinda nervous after hearing all the stories about having to socialize and do certain stuff with some frat parties. I'm not really a big party person, I'm mostly looking for the community and sisterhood vibes. Are the frat guys actually like what everyone says online or is it overhyped? scared after reading some of the posts here

fefinitely rush if your feeling it but not every sorority is the right fit, focus on finding the girls you actually get along with. And yeah avoid going to parties alone no matter what, some creeps aout there, some frats are definitely worse than others. I’d look up recent records on the sororities and frats on jmu's website

Not all guys actually fit the stereotype but there are many cun^^ out there. You should rush if you feel you’d want to be part of a sisterhood, but there will be rules to follow, many girls are really sweet. good luck.
