If you’re wanting to get into a sorority purely based on looks, then you’re set. Aphi bid promises like crazy, and breaks just about every rule during recruitment, and set aside find for the fines they get because of it. I’m a rising senior and it’s really disappointing to see this happen year after year. Their sisterhood is horrible and aren’t involved in the JMU community at all. They push that they are a “top” sorority, but are a solid middle.

I’m a DG- not an APhi, but I have to say the women I know in this sorority are amazing, smart, and kind. They’ve always treated me with respect even though our org is not on the same “tier” My boyfriends sister is a jmu APhi alum and she’s one of my favorite people. I wish y’all the best in recruitment this upcoming fall and hope your incoming class realizes they’re joining an awesome group of women :)

Alpha Phi at JMU literally is a bunch of fake wannabe instagram baddies, but not in a cute way. I heard one time this girl in aphi farted on her sisters and then farted on me during recruitment. it smelled so bad i almost threw up, kissed me through the phone.
