dropped 2x from sorority recruitment

I've gone through recruitment twice at this point. Each time, I was dropped after the first week. Am I doing something wrong? I thought I was doing everything right. I didn't mention anything I wasn't supposed to mention, I got my hair and nails done, I didn't bad-mouth other chapters, I kept everything positive. One sister even told me she thought I'd be a perfect fit for her chapter.
The two things going against me maybe were my GPA (3.08) and the fact I'm a junior but does anyone have any insight for me?

it's a mutual matching process. Its possible that a chapter that really liked you was ranked 4 or 5 by you instead of 1 or 2 and vice versa. Since you did not get invited to pref, you can COB. Are you tight with any chapters in particular? Reach out to sisters to see if they will COB.
Your GPA is fine. Some chapters are jerks about juniors but a lot of chapters tke juniors if they are a good fit!

If you were a junior and had a 3.999, they MIGHT have considered you. But at this point, you're too old and too much of a grade risk. It's not personal, but the chapters need women who will be here for 4 years, not 1 or even 1 1/2. The only mitigating circumstance would be if you had some fabulous talent, or you were famous, or had fantastic grades. It doesn't mean you're not "worthy" or "good enough." It just means you didn't fit their criteria.

Yeah I find that hard to believe honestly unless this chick was a total psycho.
