Greek life is on the rise at NU, with more interest from the newest freshmen and sophomores every year! The quality of organizations on campus is what you'd expect from an involved school like Northeastern. FSL feels more together than at most schools and there are less rivalries. The big challenge is the law of no fraternity/sorority houses in Boston, which hurts the social scene. This is limited to houses on Mission Hill or other apartments off campus. Still, greek life at NU is looking up!!!

Greek life at NU is growing very quickly. There is a sorority for every type of girl and a frat for every type of guy. There are numerous frats off-campus that haze but the IFC is strict on campus. There is top and bottom for soriorties and frats. The school has a healthy mix of everything. There is always some sort of greek event going on and I don't know the exact figure but at least a 1/5 of the school seems to be involved in greek life of some sort.
