Fraternity Transfer
by: MCSimilar to someone else’s recent post but I’m wondering if certain frats tend to have bigger transfer classes than others/are more transfer friendly? Or have more have sophomores/juniors rushing? Also is there a separate fall rush class for transfers/upperclassmen than fall freshman ? Preciate anyone’s help

By your question I’m assuming you’re a transfer sophomore- yes, there is a separate process for upperclassmen: fall rush starts as soon as you get on campus with weeknight pong nights (most active on mondays), tailgates and other stuff. You could/should probably also reach out to people or follow people on insta before getting to campus. Fall rush ends by mid September, and bids get handed out extremely quickly, so hit the ground running. Plenty of people get bids, go to the place where your personality matches the culture of the house. Best of luck.
Phi psi/ksig/SAE don’t take that many people but still some. You probably need to know someone
KA/Snu/zbt don’t take slightly more but still not a ton, you probably don’t have to know someone
ATO/Phi delt tend to take larger fall classes and are more open to strangers/people they meet during rush (and not before rush via a personal connection)
Other frats idk much about so can’t really comment
