This is a great response. However, I think it's important to add the following: Pi Phi, ADPi, ChiO and Theta are highly selective. You need a very high GPA and be very well-rounded to be able to make it to pref for these houses. They cut a ton of girls in the first round just based on GPA. I'm not trying to discourage you, but the point is that you will be competing against hundreds of girls who are the creme of the crop from other high schools. There is simply not enough room for everyone at the end. So, unfortunately, the reality is that a ton of highly qualified girls don't make the cut. In a perfect world, these houses would love to have them, but they are limited by the quota. That being said and based on your post, I would keep AChiO, Kappa, KD and maybe Zeta (all solid houses) in your back pocket if the other four don't work out for you. Remember, these are all just broad generalizations to take into account when going through rush. It's best to just maintain an open mind when going through the process. All of this is just my opinion. I'm sure there are people who will disagree with me.
