Ladies who are coming through in 2016, I just wanted to share what I put in my rec packet, because i got help, and yall deserve it too! First, PUT YOUR RESUME ON RESUME PAPER. just trust me. just go make copies at fedex. I did it! 2. Have 4 photos total. For example, if you have two recs per house, you would put two photos in one packet, and two in the other! just so the chapter recieves several different ones, and i recommend 4x6. 3. transcript. just make extra copies of this while youre at it. 4. a cover letter!!! this is so important. I put mine at the very top of the stack, and it was for women who didnt know me that well, and it gave them an inside look on events, and who i am. 5. a (9x12? or 11) envelope already preadressed to the sorority, and stamped!!!- like real stamps, not paid postage. 6. a thank you note. 7. a post card. what is that?? well i put one that had MY address on it, and their return address, so that whenever they put it in the mail, they could just stick it in there too!! websites like shutterfly i think and vistaprint have them for like $14 for a pack of 50. its a good deal. 8. I also put everything in a red folder inside my 10x13 envelope. SO, you can have a 10x13 so all your papers arent folded up, and thats nice for your writer!! i hope this helps. Roll Tide!
