The odds of you getting a bid to that #1 choice house next year are near zero. I'm you thought you were too good for the house that offered you a bid. They obvi wanted you more than the other house did. All of our sororities are fantastic and all offer the same Greek experience. With 350+ girls in each house, I'm sure you would have had no trouble making friends in the house that gave you a bid if you had just tried. I don't have a lot of sympathy for you. A lot of girls get their 2nd or 3rd pref choices or end up preffing houses that they tried to "drop" all week and end up loving the house they got a bid to. You'll usually hear these girls say it didn't work they way they hoped, but they can't imagine being anything else!
