100% agree. Unfortunately, NPHC groups likely won't be interested. If you feel like there is ANY chance that you would fit in at the house you received a bid to, contact them immediately, apologize, explain that you let your emotions get the best of you, and politely ask if you can accept the bid and become a part of the PC because you would be delighted to be in that house.
