No actually. Sad is not realizing that you are at bama for only 4 years but you are a member of your sorority for the rest of your life. Think job connection prospects. Of course, don't join a sorority only for strong alum connections BUT don't discount the strong nationals either because if you don't live in Alabama you might want to have the opportunity to connect later when you move to cities where you don't know anyone.
