PNMs, please do some research about how much being part of a house is going to cost you over 4 years and how you will pay for it. My house had several pledges drop during their first semester because they couldn't pay their dues. We had more during 2nd semester too. I know that financial positions can change but don't get swept up in the recruitment hype and go through the process and accept a bid if you can't afford it. You are taking a bid from our house away from some other girl that can fulfill the financial obligations. The reality is that its more expensive to be a part of the Bama Greek system than most other universities. Don't waste our time during recruitment or your pledge year if you can't really afford it.
