I totally feel this! Going into rush I kinda felt like I pretty much knew which houses would be the best fits for me. Then one philanthropy conversation with an amazingly paired girl in a house that was off my radar changed all that for me. I was torn, but ended up deciding not to pref this house in the end (I put them 3rd) and instead stuck with 2 of the other houses I knew would be better fits in the long run. My rush was also in 2020 so I didn’t get to see who else was in my parties, but I know now I did the right thing. If you connect with a girl in rush, you guys can always be friends and hang out afterwords even if you’re not in the same house, but yeah I would encourage you to not base your entire decision on one active/convo/etc.
