Yeah you have to tell them. If you just say “my sister’s a ____!” without adding “but I want to do my own thing and find the house that fits me the best, not my sister” then they’re probably assuming you’re going to the legacy house. My house is one of the few OR houses that does not actually do this and keeps sisters with in house legacies just as we would other girls to give them a fair shot.
