Wouldn't National Panhellenic have to approve that, though? I think the one year rule was set by them and is across the board, not a campus-by-campus decision. I'm not saying NPC wouldn't make the exception, but I've never heard of a complete recruitment re-do before. Also, what if COB doesn't work out for some of the girls who drop from houses they are currently pledging? She's leaving a house that WANTS her to try again for ones that have already released her once, and it might not have had anything to do with space. I also wonder how sororities will feel about those who bail on a pledgeship they've committed to in order to try for another one. Might not be too favorably. I don't know, though, because there are some unusual circumstances right now, but I'm not sure this is an answer for girls who wish they'd gotten in somewhere else. Of course, if she's really unhappy where she is and planning to drop before initiation anyway, I guess she'd have nothing to lose.
