Yes. Almost all houses have rules that you have to invite a legacy to philanthropy round. So a lot of legacies are cut after philanthropy because if a house knows they don’t want to give you a bid they don’t want to get your hopes up by inviting you to sisterhood and having you think that because you’re a legacy you’re set. SO many girls who go through are legacies, so unless your legacy connection went to Alabama all it really does it get you to philanthropy (which could be enough if you end up being a good fit anyways and they decide they want you)
