RECOMMENDATIONS MATTER! Yes, really. #1 thing sororities look at is grades, and #2 is recommendations. You MIGHT get a bid without them, but that would be a fluke. Forty, thirty years ago, you might not have to ask for them yourself, but that doesn't mean they were not sent. Now, it's CRUCIAL to have recs for every house. Don't be lazy! Get out there and start asking women if they are in a sorority and if they will recommend you to theirs.
