Serious Question - Why do so many people in the South make such a big deal about pageants? I've seen MANY posts on this site about how ABC and XYZ houses are "good" because they take a lot of pageant girls. I'm from the North so maybe it's a cultural difference? Idk, I just feel like the South is just so antiquated, like people praise houses for having pretty pageant girls and somewhat look down on houses for having smart and diverse girls?
