Pay for friends is a bit harsh, but OR is more insular, purposeful and closed in accepting "outsiders". It's part of the "appeal"! Given that, retention becomes almost necessary as being open to new friends beyond the house (even with OOS members) isn't part of the equation. Yes, I know of exceptions, but also know plenty of OR girls In my classes who talk ONLY to thier sisters. It's a teen much more noticeable with OR. \n\n\n\n\n
