Yes. Unless you have terrible grades or are a terrible fit, most legacies have a strong advantage to their legacy house out of courtesy to the alumna member. You should not knock your legacy house out until you meet other girls in the house. But, if it’s not for you, go ahead and rank them below a favorite house and make your own way.
