I think being in a sorority is actually a great support system grade-wise (and socially of course), especially if your major is tough. There will be girls who have taken the same classes or are taking them with you and they can give you any advice or help you might need! The fact that you’re in a difficult major and (from what I can tell on this post) care about succeeding in school will be something that a lot of houses will want! Your friend is definitely wrong, and if you are interested in rushing you should absolutely do it!
