Being in the honors college doesn't mean you have a good reputation or are nice. I am sure there are lots of nice ddds but I agree with the OP. The ones i know- and I know a lot- had terrible reputations coming in. THat doesn't seem to matter. I don't really care if you have a bad rep if you are nice, but I can't think of many nice ddds from in state.
