This sad site makes it sound like if you don't like your choices during recruitment it is easy just to drop out and COB later. Unfortunately, getting a bid to any house at all (even the ones that get slammed on here as lower rank) is difficult and lots of girls would give anything for a bid to any house. COB is even harder than formal because there are only a few places and most houses already know the girls they are going to ask. They're a member's roommate, cousin, best friend, etc. They might not have even gone through formal because they planned to COB all along. So 18 PNMs, don't drop recruitment or this may be you.
