If you received a bid from a chapter you preffed at and put on your bid acceptance card, you didn't fall through the cracks. An amazing chapter saw potential in you, which is saying more than the places you didn't get a bid from. It's honestly not too late. Contact the chapter you received a bid from and ask for another chance and you can maybe join the new member period just a little late. You're bound to that bid for a year anyhow. What's the harm in giving them a shot?
