Hey OP, coming from someone who had a less than positive rush experience and did cry on bid day I totally feel your pain. The good news is though that I did stick it out and found my best friends in my sorority. My freshman year ended up being great and I'm not sure I would have had as great of a year had I dropped. I'm not going to lie to you and say that staying made me fall in love with the sorority itself, it didn't but I did fall in love with my friends. I'm inactive now and sometimes do wonder what would have happened had I dropped and rerushed but I wouldn't trade the friends I have now for anything. I would stick it out for at least a month or two. If you're not making friends and having a blast by then I would drop and re rush. Hope this helps, good luck!
