Trying to be nice to you but as someone in a "bottom" house you're making it pretty hard. It sounds like you've spent way too much time on this website if you genuinely believe any house is known for being "the weird girls on campus." There are 400 girls in your house and I doubt they are all weird and awkward, so I don't know why you are embarrassed by your letters. I PROMISE your house was plenty of people's #1 choice. There are no leftovers in our Greek system, none whatsoever, and your biggest mistake is buying into the myth that there are. I promise every single girl wearing your letters has something to offer. This is not high school but your mentality seems to be stuck there. Going Greek is not about being a "popular" girl or swapping with "top" frats. It's about sisterhood, involvement, philanthropy, and being connected to thousands of women from all walks of life nationwide. These are all things your house WANTS to give you. All you have to do is get out of your own head and appreciate the opportunity you have been given for what it is. Sorry if this was a little harsh but there are hundreds of girls in your house for a reason. It sounds to me like this is not a case of mismatched personalities (which is a perfectly valid reason to drop) but a case of a girl thinking she's "too good" for where she is. Every house on this campus is amazing so that simply can't be true.
