Two possible answers stuck out to me: you didn't mention having any recs and it's possible houses considered you a sophomore because of your colllege credits. Other than that, the brutal truth is that every year great girls fall between the cracks for a thousand reasons. It's not that the houses didn't like you, but they had other pnms higher on their list. Finish the week and trust the system. The houses inviting you back see something in you that fits with their sisterhood. I know it's difficult but every house offers pretty much the same sorority experience. You'll have a huge pledge class and will make friends. And don't worry about grades. Every single house has 4.0 girls! You control your GPA and it sounds like you'll do great academically regardless of where you pledge!
