Sort of depends what part of Texas and what your background is like. Same for Georgia, actually, which is a funny pattern. If you are from a good neighborhood in a city (think Highland Park or River Oaks) and/or you attend a private school downtown then you are more likely to end up in old row. If you are from a further out suburb (think Flower Mound or The Woodlands) then you are more likely to end up in new row. Absolutely NOT a hard and fast rule but just something I've noticed over time. Texas girls do wonderfully in recruitment and are not seen as less-than. Every house takes plenty of us!
