Until you are a member of the sorority that has never allowed their pledges to wear its letters or place them on insta, please do not call their tradition hazing. Hazing is sometimes considered an immediate threat to life and limb, and not being able to wear letters until initiated is not a threat of that nature. While hazing can also be defined as making someone feel inferior the act of not wearing sorority letters until becoming fully initiated into membership should not make any sane and intelligent young woman feel inferior. Turn your mind toward believing in the completion of the task of pledging being rewarded with initiation and the ability to wear your letters with pride for the rest of your life.
