if a house is going to let a girl go because she's not from a select list of high schools or zip codes in alabama, but she was on an IB track in high school and has 100 service hours and holds a great conversation, then it's their loss. Other houses will scoop this girl up in a flash. is it "right" or "fair" that houses evaluate pnms on certain things more than others? maybe not, but membership selection is a part of ritual, so no one can tell a sorority to change what they're scoring based on. Besides, there's no way to really know what every single house is judging every pnm on. Most of this "deliberately low scoring to get pnms out" is speculation. I'm in a house that's constantly described as only accepting certain girls from certain families/areas of alabama and I hate coming on here and seeing everyone talk about how we only accept girls from ABC high school, because they have no idea what our MS looks like.
