Thank you! I think everyone agrees a thank you is warranted and shame on someone who doesn't thank you appropriately. It is sad however for someone to not write the rec as promised. Take the opportunity to let the girls know if you decide to not write a rec and why you decided not to write on. It gives the pnm a chance to get another rec and also teaches them the proper etiquette for recommendations.
