To continue, the REASON why sororities don't want to piss off the fraternities with this block seating situation is because of the swaps... Swaps are organized by the sorority, meaning the sorority asks the fraternities to swap with them, and the frats can easily say no... Especially if they have a reason like "you took our block seating." I know someone commented above about why girls should take block seating if they want, but it's all a cycle... If a sorority takes block seating from the fraternities, the fraternities are more likely to decline swapping together, if the frat declines a swap then the social calendar struggles, if the social calendar struggles then some girls drop because the sorority isn't "fun" enough, if girls drop then the entire house struggles, etc...
